info on how much prepaid broadband with 3 costs

    hi all
    im thinking of getting a internet dongle from 3 for prepaid mobile broadband, i dont want to sign a contract as i will only need it for the summer months

    what are the pitfalls and hidden costs etc etc

    any info would be great :D

    If you're in cork city and plan to mostly use it in built up areas get Meteor's dongle. I've used both and meteor are FAR faster. I hit a consistent 3 to 5mbit/s when I use it vs barely 1 mbit/s on 3.

    Their dongle is very cheap and the software works instantly on Windows or Mac OS X.

    €20 top up per month covers everything. Caps are adequate for normal browsing etc, wireless access isn't really suitable for heavy downloading. Try DSL or cable for that!
