Magic Memory Potion!

I'm not a big fan of drinking (anymore) and haven't gone 2 days drinking in a row for a very long time. But, I was out on the beer last night with friends, had a few this evening in-house and am noticing I'm remembering more about the details of last night while drinking than I did while nursing the mandatory headache earlier today.

Anyone else find more drinking is the best way to find out what an arse you made of yourself the previous night? Why did I wake up with a wedding ring on my finger? Did I really balance that traffic cone on my nose? What made me try to get into the back of a garda car parked outside the pub with no gardaí about?

More booze shall reveal all! I can see myself curled up and crying in the shower later tonight, wish me luck! :(

    I call it drunk memory....

There are a few places in Berlin I could only remember how to get to when drunk...

Yeah I kinda agree with ya. When I'm drinking I do remember more. More often then not it's useless information though!

I agree with the useless information part. I reckon I'm way beyond the point of guilt when it comes to nights out but its not something I really noticed until I stayed off booze for a few months.

I guess it's one of those things I wish I knew when I was younger, to quote a famous OAP VIP! :)

    If you don't remember it...it didn't happen.

    I usually stick with that.

Remembering something while on the batter the next night is distorted memory, (while it may be true). If you can't remember sober.....IT definitely didn't happen.
