nice picnic area or playground

    I am not sure where to post this so move if necessary. I want to go for a drive and a picnic tomorrow.. somewhere around cork county. just wondering if there is any activity on anywhere? festival/fair or something like that?
    is there any website that I could check? I tried whatson but was no use. or maybe just to recommend somewhere nice to take children 4 under 10

    How about a nice dinner in the bar of the Garryvoe Hotel near Castlemartyr.
    Afterwards, cross the road to the playground, and then have a walk on the footpath overlooking the beach.

    Or how about Fota Wildlife park ?
