Sky+ timing issue when recording.

I have a problem when I record programs using Sky+ particularly on the Irish channels (RTE1, RTE2, TV3). Sky+ starts recording the program about four to five minutes before the scheduled start time and stops recording four to five minutes before the end missing the end of some programs.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and know how to fix it? I would appreciate any help.

Go to services sky+ setup & add to end of recording. you can add up to 10 minutes manually

Also note, if you have 2 recordings starting together at the same time, this can often cutoff the prior recording regardless of the time added.

Good advice that thanks. Still, doesn't forgive RTE for running over scheduled programs to such an extent that the recorded program ends prematurely. Last weeks airtricity football (which didn't have extra time) was more than 15 mins over so Flashforward I think it was ended its record abruptly

Unlike the UK channels, none of our Irish stations send updates to the guide when there are overruns or last minute changes.
