    Hi everyone,
I am starting a new job next week and to save a long commute I am looking to move into Dublin.
Can anyone recommend a nice area to rent in where a bedsit/1 bed apt wouldn't be too dear?
I am a single female and don't have any ninja skills/large scary dog so it needs to be a safe area. I was thinking maybe Ranelagh or Rathmines?
    Thanks for your help.

Most of the places along with Green line are fine and you wouldn't need much ninja skills.;)

I'm a single female and I live in Ranelagh...and I love it. It's safe, there are nice local pubs and cafes, and I can get decent coffee. And although I'm close to a Luas stop, most of the time I just walk into town from my house; it's 25 minutes to Grafton street. I moved here not that long ago, and most of the bedsits or rooms in shared houses I saw in the area were 100-130/week, and some included heat and utilities.
