PSN shop not accepting visa?

The PSN shop simply wont accept visa, tried changing it by account information and it wouldnt let me either.Where can I buy those network card yokes?

it does, but what usually happens, specially with 3v ive been there, sony verify the card first, can take 5 days, youll be good to go then, i promise

ya can get them network card things in any game shop or extra vision iv come across the same problem wit visa not the 3V thing an actual visa card no longer works wer as it used to work no hassle at all then one day bang no longer worked noting to do wit the card everything fine there just the PSN iv read its possible to log into ur account on a PC and add funds there havent try'd it yet tho had given up after so many trys on the ps3

Alright thanks for the responses, going to go down to xtra vision now and see if they have the network cards.

Went to xtra vision in Rathgar and Rathmines and neither have them.Tried to add funds online but didnt work either.Gets stuck on billing address even though I have a ****ing bank statement next to me telling me the exact way the billing address is laid out.

What stores sell the network cards?

Are you sure you're setting it up right?

I seem to remember you had to set up the Visa details on the PS3s master account and then enable it to other profiles.

Not sure what you mean by the highlighted part.

To find out which is the master account, log in and go to Account Management, the Master Account is the one that has Sub Account Management as an option.

i mean i had old fat ps3 i remember setting up master account on that i then got rid of that changed to a slim but dont remember ever been asked to set up a master on that one an for any of the accounts i have on it so was wondering how do i check which is master or not as im unable to add funds with visa

edit: also none of my accounts on the new slim have any option saying sub account management so how do i set up a master it not showing up as an option any where

My Visa debit doesn't work, really annoying. Think it's to do with the fact it's a HSBC UK card though, dunno. Works online elsewhere though.

Don't want to shell out for a 20 euro PSN card when all I want to spend is 6 euro.

exactly my issue just want to buy something small but dont wanna fork out 20 euro just to buy something that cost a lot less

Right, I checked my sons slim PS3 and I'm set up as the master account on that one too.
It was an option to make a master account during the "sign in to playstation network" process.

Creating a Master Account

Part One:

1. Select Sign Up for PLAYSTATION®Network under Friends (far right) in the XMB.
2. Enter your country of residence, language, and date of birth (you must be 18 years old to create a Master Account) and then select Continue.
3. Select Master Account when given the option of what type of account is to be created.
4. The User Agreement and Privacy Policy should appear. Please review that and then choose to either accept or decline. You must accept to continue in the creation of the account.
5. Enter a sign-in ID and password. The sign-in ID should be a valid e-mail address and then enter a password of at least six characters. The password cannot match the sign-in ID and must contain at least one number and letter (no all numbers or all letters). Be sure to write down your sign-in ID and password and store it in a safe place just in case you have forgotten it later on.
6. Select a security question and answer, then select Continue. The security question and answer will be used in case you forget your password. Be sure to write down the question and answer just in case you have forgotten the password.

Part Two:

1. Create an online ID that will be publically displayed in all games and then select Continue. Please think ahead and choose something you will like down the road because the online ID cannot be changed once entered.
2. Enter all your personal information in the boxes provided and select Continue.
3. Enter your billing information if you'd like to purchase items from the PLAYSTATION® Store. This step is optional and can be changed later on.
4. A screen should be displayed where you can recieve notifications from SCE and its partners. Please select the box/es if you are interested in recieving information from any of them. This step is optional and can be skipped.
5. Another screen should appear with the information you have entered in the previous steps. Please review this information and when satisfied, select Confirm and a message should appear congratulating you on successfully creating a PLAYSTATION®Network account.
6. Select an avatar that will be displayed beside your handle when on the PLAYSTATION®Network. There are multiple pages of avatars and you can keep the default avatar if you'd like. At this time you can't use your own image as an avatar.
7. After this you should be able to log onto the PLAYSTATION®Network and enjoy all of the features!

Since there is no master account on your slim, you should be able to set one up now. You may be able to delete your main account and re-do it as a master account.

had a crack at all that this morning all my accounts were signed up as existing account from old ps3 couldnt find anything bout master on any of them so i went and created a brand new fresh account and still didint see any option to pick master account

id say id prob have to reset the ps3 to factory settings and then create one and then it might give me the option to do so

I am having trouble getting the ps store to accept my 3v card. Its weird because I used it about 4/5 months ago, and it worked grand. I topped up again yesterday, and now when I put in the new details it keeps saying it is not valid

Any help would be awesome, all i wanna do is play pixeljunk shooter
