Haven't ventured there yet, can anyone tell me if part of the area is on the flat that someone can walk their dog on (oul lad has a dodgy heart atm can't manage the even slight inclines).

Is there a walkway all the way up now?

No there isn't really much of it on the flat at all.
There is a walkway most of the way partly just a muddy trail.

If you don't go to the main car park and head for the forresty at the back you can walk around the trails taking you by the look out tower, that's pretty flat a lot of people go walking that way rather than climbing the actual bit itself. There' an organised walk every sunday with refreshments afterwards in the mountain gym.
