    ALDI Thursday 15th:
    Flexi Head Gear Wrench Set per set €12.99 *

    Material: Chrome-alloy steel. Wrench: 45 teeth, 8 degree fine-toothing.

    * Chrome plated and polished
    * Flexible ratchet head
    * Sizes: 8/10/13/14/17mm

    linky: http://www.aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/special_buys3_12627.htm

    I bought 1 ratchet wrench (without the swivel top) from Halfords (13mm) and it's the best thing ever! Skinned knuckles, cursing and swearing all reduced at least 75%! Could not justify buying a full set - but these look affordable. It's ALDI own-brand so quality may not be up to SnapOn standards.

    (for anyone who doesn't already know - it's probably best to use the fixed end to loosen the nut - then use the ratchet end to do the rest)

    They were a no show at our local Aldi...

    Then trying to find a staff member to ask... well, you know how Aldi are... one staff member in the entire store, on the till, didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

    So then when it comes to walking out of Aldi empty handed... that's a good one... you have to squeeze past the 10 people standing at the only open checkout... because Aldi have it in their head that you can't exit their store any other way.

    Good old Aldi.

    I prefer the fixed offset head over the swivel type. I cant image these would take much pressure for that price
