Luxury Holiday Suggestions - Europe

    Hi ,

    I'm looking for a week in the sun anywhere in Europe. Has any one been
    to any good luxury hotels in a nice resort that they can recommend?

    I'm not fussy about the country - All I want is sunshine, a good place to stay
    and relaxation! I've done mainly sightseeing holidays for the last few years
    and I'm determined to relax + do nothing on this holiday!!

    Budgetwise, for 2 people, we have about €2k + but could stetch a bit more if we had to.

    Bahia del Duque hotel in Tenerife - it is the best and most luxurious hotel in the Canary Islands, it's absolutely FABULOUS! Amazing, spent a week there and it was perfect. I wasn't keen on going to the Canary Islands because it gives off an impression of being a cheapo party destination.

    Last year though we were just looking for a place close enough to Ireland with great weather and some luxury. So I found this place. It's located in Costa Adeje, the posh part of Tenerife :) Very quiet, peaceful and oh so luxurious. Not a drunken idiot in sight! I would go back again tomorrow!

    Stayed at the 4* Los Jameos Playa Hotel in Lanzarote, twice, Heaven. They really look after you. All you can eat buffet :pac::pac::pac::D, but 4* quality. It is situated in between the Airport( No airport noise) and Porto del Carmen new town. Only 10 mins drive from Airport. Beach across the road.
