    hi i recently bought a replacement battery for a dell inspiron 1300 on ebay, i cant get it to charge, when i check at the start by pressing f2 in power options it says the battery is performing normally but it is at 0% ALL THE TIME....???

    do i need to calibrate the battery or install something??


    the original DELL battery is

    Type HD438 rating: 14.8V capacity 29WH

    the replacement is

    14,8V 2200mAh

    not sure if that helps but it is reckon my head that it wont charge????

    i tried in my brotheres computer and it does not charge in that computer either ?

    but my brothers computer charges his battery.... so i doubt its something wrong with the computer...

    it must be the battery but i bought it brand new....?

    do i need to calibrate the battery or install something??

    Also i tried to download some BIOS thing but when i try run it, it says battery must be charged at least 10% ????????????????

    IF YOU CAN HELP I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT
