Help with variable data source in SSIS (BIDS)

Hi, Hoping someone can help me. I have created an SSIS package within BIS (SQL 2008) which simply imports a TEXT file into a table. Hi,
Hoping someone can help me.

What I would like is to have this Text file as a variable so I can have the user decide where the file resides.

I can see where to create the variable in BIDS but how do I assign it to the source text connection ?

Have googled for the last hour and haven't got a concrete answer !!!
