What programes do you use to view the GPX file that a Garmin Sat nav generates. I want to lay the locations on a map like google maps.

I had a great program on the computer but since the hard drive crashed i lost it and cant remember where i got it.

Google Earth can load GPX files directly.

Not directly, but there are various websites that allow you to do this such as GPSVisualizer (http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/).

Try Sportstracks. It'll import GPX files directly, and lay the tracklog on google maps for you (but not embedded in a HTML page, like GPSVisualizer). It's also free.
