    Hi All

    Are any of you using apple tv??

    If so what do you think of it? Are you using the US iTunes store for rentals and purchases with it?

    I can't say much about the Apple TV as I don't have one, I'm simply not a fan of it at all and went for a Mac Mini + Plex for all my media needs instead.

    J-blk has the right idea. Except I'd choose Boxee over Plex, but that's just personal taste. Costs a bit more, but not too much more and can play 1080p HD, which Apple TV can't.

    I use one in its stock configuration, mostly to act as an AirTunes speaker. Other than that, I use it to watch a few video podcasts every week that I sync from my laptop. Probably wouldn't bother replacing it if it died though.

    i have one running XBMC as the media center in my living room, bloody fantastic, only really struggles with large MKV files bu everything is a breeze to use.

    Wouldlove to get a mac mini however and move to the bedroom but for now, no issues at all :-)

    Got the AppleTv delivered today and im thrilled with it, works really well with my US iTunes account, downloaded 2 movies from iTunes over the weekend and plan on renting a movie on it over the coming weeks as baby number 2 arrives shortly it will be great for night feeds to put the TV on to something you like at 4am!!!

    Thanks for all the help guys getting the US iTunes account set up
