Lost contacts after update.

    I updated and jailbroke my iPhone 3G today. All is working well but i seem to have lost all my contacts and messages. I still have my photos that I have taken and my email and all is still set up.
    Im not really worried about my messages but really dont wont to lose my contacts. Is there anyway of getting them back?

    Had a look on google and tried a few things but didnt work. Does anyone know what to do?

    Edit: I did have to write the name of my phone it was written somewere that means i have lost it all. Is that true?

    This happened me before and essentially what happened was I didn't restore properly. If you have backed up your contacts recently, then they should be there. I'd try restoring again.

    If my notes and photos were backed up does that mean my contacts definetly have?
