Driving License renewal - Marriage certificate?

    Got the form to renew the license and noticed on the check list of docs to include (if required) it says "Original Marriage Certificate". What on earth for?

    To prove why you have a different name from your birth cert.

    It mentions docs for idetification seperately. But I guess that would explain it.

    I guess if you were a woman who'd recently got married and changed their name that you'd need to include it in order to reflect the change of name on the licence.
