I've got a Canon 3.2 MP Cybershot camera. It's about five years old and the software has stopped working. Basically it takes a picture or too before crashing.

Is there anything I can do with the camera or should I just bin it?

It's probably only worth 40 quid or so anyway so maybe just buy a secondhand working one

Is there any point trying to sell it?

Had a look on the Canon website. Turns out it's a Powershot A75. No sign of new firmware.

Had a look on that other site. No sign of the A75. Cheers though.
