iPhone Car Kit

I know it's been probably been posted a million times, but I've searched and can't find it.
Basically I'm looking for a recommendation for a iPhone compatible car kit...want cradle to hold phone but also want to be able to play music through car radio and charge the phone.
If it was also able to allow hands-free talking through car stereo system, that would be a major bonus...

Am I looking for too much?? I've seen a few on eBay...but I'm not a techie and I just get so confused by all the specifications.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received....

I've looked around a lot at this myself and it's difficult to get all of these in one cradle.

Most bluetooth stereos allow for music streaming and handsfree through the stereo. Then all you need is an in-car charging dock.

But if you don't have a bluetooth stereo, then your best option is the tomtom car kit, which I have. This provides a stereo connection via Aux in and an integrated handsfree kit. It unfortunately doesn't do hands-free talking through the stereo, but the speaker on the kit is more than good enough to hear people at 120km/h+

It's around €100 delivered. To get the same functionality otherwise, you'll need 2 or 3 separate devices and it'll cost you €100 and some hassle anyway.

I'm very happy with it, and it improves GPS signal too.

Ouch....wasn't planning on spending that much.
Was hoping to get something for under €50.

But will have a look at it anyway...thanks a mill.

Well you can go with a DIY solution:

This mount:

(in fact any car charger will do)

And an aux cable will give you the same functionality.

Tbh, any mount, charger and aux cable will do, but it's just not as smooth as the tomtom kit which lets my slot the phone in and away I go. No messing with cables and such when I get in the car

I'm using a Kensington iPhone cradle from the Apple Store, and a supply of chargers from the €2 (these are also great as regular data cables, by the way, and only 2 quid).

I bought and installed a €129 Sony bluetooth head unit from Halfords and would recommend that anyone with an iPhone does the same. Will greatly improve your iPhone in-car experience, both for making phonecalls and listening to music.

get the griffin with aux connection to play music through stereo clear ( quality ) plus it charges it also as it connects to the cigarette lighter

then for bluetooth get the nokia CW-K7 kit , ive tested this with the iphone and it works great
