I'm subscribed to a persons channel on youtube called SetYouFreee, they added a video recently called Quantum Physics & Consciousness.

    http://www.youtube.com/user/SetYouFr.../0/dcgbQxD_Ypk

The person getting interviewed is not a crackpot hippy weed smoking clown from some caravana in the desert like a lot of the guest on the show, but a renowned Quantum physicist Dr. Amit Goswam.

Amit Goswami is a theoretical nuclear physicist and member of The University of Oregon Institute for Theoretical Physics since 1968, teaching physics for 32 years.

I think you will really like this interview and you will be very happy you listened to it as it goes into some things we all think about.

Summary: quantum mechanics is wierd and hard to understand, therefore God exists.

    Right?

    http://www.cs.uwaterloo.ca/~shallit/euler.html
There exists a widely quoted story about Diderot and Euler according to which Euler, in a public debate in St. Petersburg, succeeded in embarrassing the freethinking Diderot by claiming to possess an algebraic demonstration of the existence of God: "Sir, (a+b^n)/n = x; hence God exists, answer please!"

    ...
The story seems to have been made up by the English mathematician De Morgan (1806-1871).
    ...

It is true that there was in the eighteenth century occasional talk about the probability of an algebraic demonstration of the existence of God; Maupertuis indulged in one, see Voltaire's Diatribe, Oeuvres, Vol. 41 (1821 ed.), pp. 19, 30. See also B. Brown, Amer. Math. Monthly, Vol. 49 (1944).
