Imei if iphone wont boot

    Is it possible for myself or apple to find the imei of a smashed iphone?
    I know on normal phones its under the battery, is there a similar place inside an iphone?

    Depends which one you have. The 3g has it on the sim tray, not sure about the 3gs.

    It's written on the sim card holder, if you take it out.

    hehe that made me laugh... Guys phone had an incident involving the road and multiple cars. Sim card (and holder) not to be found.
    Odd that it would be on sim card holder, the one part of phone you could swap with another iphone though.
