In a normal year Tiger woods would be 2/1 - 5/2.
    This year he is 6/1....
Ok he is under preasure (He was born to handle it?)
He has not played for a while (Does it really matter)
Has he lost his talent? NO
Is he still the most gifted player ever to play the game? YES
Is he is great physical shape? (Best he has ever been so he sayes)

will He finish outside the top 5? 6/1 could back him E/W.

So 6/1....is this an Amazing price?

I don't think so. I think a better bet would be that he will miss the cut. You can lay him for the cut on betfair @ 1.25.

I do. No room for anything less than 100% commitment and concentration around Augusta. I think there is a good chance he'll miss the cut, I think that there is zero chance he will be within 4 shots of the winner.

The closer the event get's the more I believe it's set up for Tiger to win. Watching the build up,it's the most relaxed I've seen Tiger looking in along time on course. Don't think you will see 6/1 Tiger for a long time!

It's hardly an amazing price, but it does represent value.

Watched his interview earlier in the week and there was definitely a glint in his eye when he said "i'm here to win this thing". I think he's itching to get back to it and i can't believe anyone could question his powers of concentration. I actually thought he was robot until all the scandal broke.:)

    6 to 1 is huge.

well that's betting for you,as you said he would have been around 9/4 in a normal year,6/1 was about when you consider all the shyte he's put his friends and family through lately, and yes i'm on @6's,but there's still a long way to go

    Have E50 on him winning.

E10 on him missing the cut and crying on the final green as well :p

Just finished my last slice of humble pie....that second to the 9th was probably the shot of the year so far. No doubt he has his game face with him, but I stll believe he won't win.

He was very impressive yesterday....and left some shots out there. One or two putts lipped out which I was convinced were going in.

    He's looking good.

i know you put imho at the end of your post to cover yourself but to say someone else is hungrier than Tiger is a joke, the reason why he's been at the top is not just because of his talent but because his hunger, desire and will to win is far more than anyone else's.

Being hungry won't help when there's a shot in it on the last 9 holes. Handling the pressure is what its all about and you couldn't design a better human being for handling pressure than Woods. He's been the best for 10+ years now and still his winning percentage is astounding. He never gets tired of winning and to suggest otherwise would be foolish in the extreme.
