    There is good deals to be had on clothing nonetheless, as the OP has pointed out. In Blanchardstown yesterday;
    John Rocha jeans - 33€ ( 50% off )
    Jaspar Conran - a lot of stock 40 -50% off )

    Particularly good deals to be had on jackets / coats

    There are so many sales in Debenhams at this stage that I've begun to regard the sales price as the standard price and anything else as a premium.

    Couldn't agree more, would never shop there outside of a sale. But I do like some of the brands - Rocha, Tom Wolfe, Kenneth Cole...

    I have a gift card for them, and I can't even find anything to spend it on, they're THAT expensive

    Had a roam around it yesterday and couldn't find a thing worth buying even at the reduced prices. Have been lucky in the past though, pride of place goes to a brabantia touchlid 50litre bin that I picked up for €30 ( normally well over a €100). Keeps the hound out :)

    Oh I got this last September on sale in Debenhams,I didnt even know that they were really expensive but when I was that there were groups of people buying them so I decided to get one. Im lucky I picked one up because I havent seen them as cheap as I got mine anywhere else. And I believe they all take the pods, I dont think there are any alternatives. Hope you get one at a good price :)

    Back on now.

    5% off using PV69 code doesn;t seem to work for Ireland though.
    Can anyone get it to work?

    I buy my Jasper Conran suits during these sales, usually down from the high €200-250 mark to around €100-120

    Also some of the most helpful sales staff down in the mens suit department in the Henry street store.

    I have a 40 euro voucher for there. I got it last July, no idea when it's up so I'm worried that it might be up after a year? Anyone know how long the current gift cards last for? If it's going to be up soon I'll just give it to my Mum or something.

    Use it to buy a new voucher? I think they're often 6 months, better go in soon
