Does anybody know anything about World Energy Research? They are looking for investors for a hydro electricity generating plant in Guatemala. They are offering very good returns on investment. I am new to the world of investing so any feedback would be appreciated.

    Here are the figures

Its a 3 phase build. Each phase takes 18 months.

Phase 1 investor returns during phase 1 35.8%
Phase 1 investor returns during phase 2 50.8%
Phase 1 investor returns during phase 3 60.8%

The returns continue for the liftime of the plant. Minimum investment is $12000.

Never heard of them and there doesn't seem to be much on the net about them from anyone objective but the whole thing looks extremely dodgy - website is quite vague on exactly what they do and it would take a multi-multi million dollar company to do any kind of meaningful research in all the fields they're talking about, whcih you'd expect to gain some mention in the mainstream press.

    Unsecured "banking login" is laughable.

I know a nigerian prince who's looking for a resting account for his fortune if you've 12 grand to spare....

If it sounds too good to be true; it usually is to good to be true.

    Avoid.
