    Hey,

Quick Q....saw something about 'three games at home and two games away' in the conditions of the barton cup....whats that about? You dont have to play the same team five times do you?

    Thanks

3 Matches at home(2 players each team obv) and 2 matches away,;)

all matches have to finish so obv can't be a draw on agg

No u dont have to play them five times!! basically home team gets to play 3 matches at their course and 2 are played on the away teams course. both home and away matches happen simultaneously. team with home draw should have advantage and go through but thats not always the case:D
Barton cup is definitely one of best interclub competitions going

Sorry about the stupidity but I'm from Munster and this is new to me! Will be partaking this year though!
So the games on both courses are played on the same day?

Sounds pretty interesting tbh...scratch matchplay, min of 14 combined for the pairing yes?

yeah foursomes matchplay played off scratch. throws up some great matches, some go for two good 7,7 or 6,8 handicappers whilst others go with low and mid handicappers 3,11 or 4,10 with the chance the high can crack under the pressure in a foursomes format.
