O2 Price Plan

I got a phone call from a representive from O2 about two weeks ago is relation to switching O2 plan. I'm just out of my original iphone contract.

The girl on the phone was quite helpful and explained the new plan clearly enough to me. Basically she summed the package up as follows:

    100 texts to any network,
    250 webtexts,
150 minutes to any network and also landlines, and
more data usage than I'd ever use in a month

I tend to be a pretty hard text message user and currently have an add-on. I was told that my 100 text message add-on would still cost me an additional €7.50.

She also told me that I'd free talk and texts to all O2 numbers. This all seemed grand as effectively I'd have extra texts and minutes to use calling other networks. I accepted the offer.

Checked my plan yesterday and turns out that I was switched to a completely different plan that somehow costs €40 a month but doesn't give me anything (almost!). I've somehow also managed to spend €11 outside my plan in 5 days. I contacted O2 yesterday and was told that the plan the other girl discussed with me didn't exist.

I'm now completely lost and very angry. Wondering what's the best way to approach this. I'm thinking about seeing how loud I can roar down the phone at them.

They contacted me and it's been a complete failure.
