Ya gotta love kids! The little dears!
A young two of mine an hour ago decided it would be fun if they locked the backdoor and exited from the kitchen (into the hallway) and locked that door behind them too.
Thats all fine and dandy but what did they do next - they lost the keys! - yes, we pulled the house apart looking for them. No joy.

So we had one VERY hungry 10 month bab wanting her bottle, the rest wanting their supper before bed and no way to get either! :(
A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do!
We are now windowless in the back door.

All one can do is smile, count my blessings that all are still healthy and be thankful.
There are worse off out there tonight. Ya gotta love kids though. Never a dull moment. :pac:

I don't get it - they locked themselves in the back Garden? Or locked you out of the house?

At first I read this as 'They are worse off out there toinght'.

Thought you'd left the kids outside the backdoor.
    That'd learn them alright.

We could move around the rest of the house. Just trapped from accessing the kitchen.
Could have got a locksmith but we would have been waiting some time and still have to pay a hefty charge anyway.
So it was six of one - half a dozen of the other, situation. Time was the critical factor.

Like I said, could have been worse. I sure there are worse tales out there with things some little dears have done at home. :pac:

I can't remember which comedian it was that said that kids are like farts. You don't really mind your own ones but other people's are a different matter altogether.

Unfortunately when your kids makes mistakes, you have to pay for it.
    One window bill later :)

I don't really see the point of kids until they're old enough to make you a cup of tea, I'll be ditching mine to their grandparents until such time as they are (If I ever even have any)

    Lol!

Reminds me of a story I heard before.
This lass was trying to discourage her lil bro from picking his nose.
She tells him if he keeps doing it he'll get a fat belly.
Anyway, the two of them are on a bus one day and he spots a pregnant woman.
Before she can stop him, he announces loudly to the whole bus "I know what she's been doing to get that fat belly"
    :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Kids will always drop you in it! :pac:

my eldest, who is 25 now, (bear this in mind as you read on), when she was a child she asked what did handycapped mean in a horse race, i told her that this ment the horse was a bit simple, years later, she was in some horsey company, a conversation started and she said that she thaught it was awful that these horses were subjected to such abuse, she still hasnt forgiven me, :)
