Want to have your say in how Redbrick is run?

    Now is your chance!

We will be hosting our AGM (Annual General Meeting) on Thursday the 15th of April at 7pm. (Venue TBC)

The positions we have available are :
    # Chairperson
    # Secretary
    # Treasurer
    # Public Relations Officer
    # Events Officer
    # 3 x System Administrator *
    # Webmaster *
    # 3 x Helpdesk *

*You must pass a test to be eligible for these positions. Email committee at redbrick dot dcu dot ie for further details.

Pizza will be provided and there will be a trip to the bar after to celebrate our new committee.

What do you get out of it?
New skills, especially in the technical roles. You get a chance to gain valuable, hands on sysadmin/webmaster experience. It can be challenging at times but it is fun and very rewarding.

    Any questions?

PM me or email the committee. (committee at redbrick dot dcu dot ie)

Pizza, eh? Well it tends to come with a doughy base. Toppings that come as standard are tomato sauce and cheese. A variety of meats and vegetables can be placed on top of it as well.

I hope this has answered your question. :P

If you're interested in running and the date for the test doesn't suit you you can email the committee to let them know of your availability.

The Helpdesk test is today from 4pm. Meet upstairs in the Clubs and Socs office.

This position mainly involves helping out at workshops, maybe running a few of your own, giving feedback to the committee, answering emails if somone asks for help.

It's a great way to start out on the committee as you learn a lot, especially about the jobs the admins and webmaster do.

Any Chance we could set the record for the shortest AGM in DCU History?

Gamessoc's one was ridiculously long... :/

Yeah. Maybe they should limit question time, or tell people who ask stupid questions to shut up.

I agree, but it's the chair's job to chair the meeting. This includes stopping stupid questions.
