    Very True!

Mine wasnt on there neither, so i clicked the shortterm thingie-ma-thingie.

Moved over from Belgium and we lived in Drogheda for 1 year but then moved to the countryside in (EEK) county Meath :o

I've been here all my life ( in Louth not boards.ie :pac:) and every time I tryed to leave, like the magnet that louth is it always drags me back.

It's a nice community and I dont think I've experienced the craic anywhere else as much as I do in Co.Louth.

It's the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything.

No. Not at all! If I meant "still here" I would have said "still here".

    You are hilarious! :(

2 contributions from you and both facetious in nature. Why? Care to make a serious comment on the question asked?

eh, hmm... I never thought casual banter could offend someone, but fair enough, you thread, your rules..! :)

I voted your poll "Long time resident but from elsewhere", and your question didn't have an option to cover me - I am not a native, visitor or onlooker! :) I moved to moved to Drogheda in 2005 and have been living here ever since. I moved here because I thought it was a nice enough town where I could afford to buy, closer to friends and family, nice beaches, countryside and fresh air, and it's convenient enough to commute into Dublin everyday as well. So that's why I am here.

    Thanks.

    Banter has it's place! :)

Long time resident from elsewhere seems to fit your situation perfectly.

I'd question your wisdom in picking Drogheda though. :D (As a Dundalk person I'm expected to say that. :P)

Live in Drogheda, have never lived anywhere else. Which is a shame really, cos I don't really like Drogheda.

Ah well... things might start to look up soon... I might die!

I'd expected about 2/3rds of us to be born & bred Louth people and interestingly that seems to be the case. Thanks for the input so far everybody!:)
