Magic Mouse Stopped Working

    Hey Guys,

I have a Magic Mouse, I got it with an iMac and something strange happened. Two nights ago I was using my computer when I got the message my mouse battery was low. Que a half hour later, I see there's one perfect life left in it and it dies. I go and get two new batteries, open it up and ... it's wet inside. The batteries weren't burst and I was using it on a completely dry surface.

I dried it out and put in two batteries but it still wasn't working. It's been two days, it's dried out fully and it's still not working. It just seems strange that it stopped working right as it ran out of batteries. Am I entitled to a refund? Will I need to take the whole computer back since it came with it? These are probably silly questions, sorry if they sound stupid. Just looking for some advice and wondering if this has happened to anyone. :)

    Thanks

Are you absolutely sure something didn't get spilled on it? Could the guilty party have cleaned it up and not told you perhaps?

No, positive nothing spilled on it. I was on my computer for most of the day, and was with it when it randomly stopped working. Does seem strange though.

well the liquid did NOT come from aywhere else inside the mouse apart ffrom the batteries. So must have been faulty leaky batteries or something spilt on the mouse at some point, there really aren't any other options.
