DBES- history repeating

It is funny how history sometimes repeats itself. When I started in DCU in 2000 I heard lots of stories about the Dublin Business and Enterprise Society. It had died several years previously. It had been essentially a party soc, which was the biggest society on campus and collapsed among allegations of the mis-use of funds.

I gather there has been some similar stuff recently, though not nearly as serious as the DBES allegations of the 1990s.
