peripheral vision test

    This is just my curiosity and is not seeking medical advice as the person will be going to consultant for a review
    .
    Someone I know had a peripheral vision test where they look at a light and lights also flash on the periphery. I saw the printout of the result.

    To look at it it was like a crosshairs with dots around the right and left side. As I looked at it the dots on the left were brighter than those on the left and about the same amount. Anyone know if that means the not so bright ones a re loss of peripheral vision

    Hey man,

    I did that test at the beginning of last year but I think it's only meant to tell you: the more dots than usual you see then it is a sign that you have Myopia....apparently it's something the pros can see.

    I live in Australia but results might be of similar nature.
