    after i use this to convert, can i just stick it on my usb stick/external HD and go from there, or does it have to be streamed over the network?

    well u have to create a folder called video and copy the file into the folder. I dont think the ps3 will recognize it otherwise.
    Thats what i do anyway.

    You can put them in any folder.
    Press TRIANGLE on your hard drive on the XMB and then Press X on DISPLAY ALL
