Rap problem with Myspace?

    Hi,

    First of all, this isn't a hate thread or anything! Rap has its place. Love myspace for music. Sure every musicians got one! yada yada yada.....

    Anyways, I've noticed the following on a few peoples myspaces recently and its really goddam annoying!

    Basically, its this:

    You load up the bands myspace to check out their songs, and as soon as you load the page, some loop comes on of excerpts from rap songs or something! And Im not on rap myspaces either!
    CASE IN POINT! <<<----Click!!

    Its really weird and I've scanned the page and there doesn't seem to be any obvious player that I can stop or anything! Its mad annoying!

    Anyone else got this problem? And more importantly, any ideas on how to stop it?

    it's the 2nd comment down. The one made by the user 'bote' - it has a music player embedded in it. You should probably tell the band to remove it completely because I'm sure it's doing them no favours. I've seen (or should I say heard) this a lot on myspace, not just rap music though, all sorts. Ultimately, it's the owners of the myspace page allowing the comment through for some reason - probably don't realise what they are doing. On the plus side, you can switch it off on the add.

    Pretty sneaky if you ask me! Hijacking peoples myspace and knowlingly misrepresenting peoples pages! Theres gotta be a lawsuit buried there somewhere!

    No problem man, tis indeed very sneaky but it's the owners of the myspace pages letting the ads through.
