Electric Shower stopped working

    Hi

    Hope someone can help!

I'm renting a house with only one bathroom - meaning only one shower.
The shower has completely stopped working - no light, no drips, no noise.

Landlord said ring Shower Doctors, they'll fix it.
They advised that they charge EUR80 just for coming out and plus parts.(he said to take the money out of my rent )
They also said that it would be 2 to 3 days and they could only give me 30 mins notice.

Now, I'll probably need a new shower altogether, so checked them on line and they are between 200 and 300 euro.

    Can anyone suggest an alternative??

    Thanks!
    Stinky!!!!

No light = check the pull cord switch and the mcb/fuse at the fuse board

if there us no light on thr switch, it must be a fault either on the mcb which could have tripped or is there a fused switch, which could have the fuse blown
