Hi all just a heads up that if you cant make it to the Sportsground in Galway on Saturday to see Connacht v Bourgoin you'll be delighted to know it's live on Sky Sports2, coverage starts at/around 12:45PM and KO is 1PM.

Unfortunately i cant make it as im working at 1:30PM so il record it and watch it when i get home.

    Kind Regards,

    Dave.

According to Sky EPG the second half will be on the red button which may make it more difficult to record.

Well the HEC is much bigger than the Challenge Cup. And Northampton are English.

Can't understand decision to show second half of Connacht match on red button as Biarritz vs Ospreys doesn't kick off until 3.00pm. Connacht match should be over at least 15 minutes before that. Obviously Sky regard build up to Ospreys match as more important than second half of Connacht's match which is somewhat disappointing. Not totally au fait with recording red button on Sky + but hope its as straightforward as recording programme directly for those who can't see the game live on TV and are depending on recording it. For those without Sky + and hoping to record onto DVD/VCR it is a real hassle as you would have to have someone present to push the red button in order to record the second half.

Well if RTE's (our national broadcaster) Against The Head will only mention in passing that Connacht beat Edinburgh and not even mention the quater final match on saturday why would Sky (british broadcaster) hype up a match between an irish and french team.

Yes noticed this too. Very shabby treatment by RTE. Suppose with shorter half hour programme they will argue about time limitation but they managed to show plenty of AIL action.

I flicked over when the ads were on & I thought I'd missed d highlights when I went back. Did they just not show it at all? That's ridiculous!

I thought it was crazy enough when Setanta decided that showing build up, followed by Top Gear, was more important than a LIVE match involving an Irish province, but for RTE not to even give it highlights? More reliable getting someone to record it on their phone at this stage.

Really hoping for an Irish clean sweep this weekend. It'll be dificult but definitely do-able.

Since ITV's teletext service closed at Christmas (only bare pages left with no sport) I use Aertel and BBC for up to date information. Aertel's Sports pages esp. listing of soccer/rugby fixtures are quite good.
