Agile Testing

I don't think so. There isn't much to agile testing at all really (nothing you wouldn't already know), and agile only suits very particular projects.

I reckon you could spend the money on a better course... or use it for a holiday!

    Cheers :)

Holiday sounds good; a friend suggested i look into it. I wasn't too sure and decided to ask, i know most testers get their experience from hands on testing.

Ericsson are heavily into Agile and if you are ever going for a job with them you should look at Agile... Knowing a little bit about it versus traditional waterfall is always a benefit. However shelling out this type of money is probably not worth it. If you get into a software house hopefully they will send you on courses like the one you mention.

Plus you'd get to spend a bit a time out of office doing the course. :)

Agile training courses for dev/QA are fairly common on at the moment where I am, a trend?

Def not worth it if your paying. Its the type of course companies buy and which are basically waffle about what's "hot" at the moment.
