    picked up this little one over the weekend. her grand father was the famous dog harry, a red and white born to red parents and all red littermates

    µaybe its the settings on my screen, but i would of guessed he was a Britany (really a setter rather than spaniel which is a misnomer) rather than a red and white.

    With the angle of the photo I would have said the same except for the length of muzzle. It's a lot longer than a Brittany pup of that age.

    Yeah, thats the only think I was thinking, the snout is more like that of a juvenile dog

    she is only 8 weeks there but from now on the length of the legs will be a real give away. also the red patches will darken alot more than on a brittany

    And springer is right, a long tail is very very rare on a Brit.
    Anyway, lovely dog, I always prefered Red & White over plain red Setters. Red and White, the original irish setter :D;)
