focus cayo cable rattling

    My back brake cable is internal,never gave it enough though at all.Suddenly it has started to rattle and it is really quite loud.Any ideas how to stop this please.

    I have had the bike for nearly 2 years its the first time this has happened.Very very disapointing,I am so sorry I bought this bike.:mad:

    Some Cayos rattle. Others don't. I know not why.

    Mine did. I sold it.

    Silicone sealant might help.

    It seems a bit extreme to regret having the bike because it develops a little cough. Can you tell if it's rattling from the front, back or in the middle somewhere? Is it the same if you have the brake cable taut and slack?

    The brake cable inside the top tube rattles. It's a known issue but honestly never bothered me when I had the bike. Whenever I head it I just thought "how much more aero must that be making me." I sold it to Lumen but because I bought something else, not because of the rattle!

    Think of it as a speed rattle.

    Mine does, on rough terrain. Just ignore it, I don't notice it anymore.

    mine rattles knocking against the frame (not internally) they knocked it down quite a bit on the cycling active test for this, doesnt bother me my other bikes are much worse
