Where do i get the application forms?
Can hardly find any info on the web about it.

Hey, I'm having a bit of trouble with this as well:D

The very last thing you have to sign on the application form is the "declaration by applicant", & it says...

"I hereby apply to (insert your county council) for a learner permit, but on page 2 it says I have to apply eveything to the Motor taxation office...

also, do I really need to hand in two evidences of identity, I'm sending in my birth cert & I suppose my student card.
I'm using the originals (as it says) so I'm assuming they'll just post them back to me along with my learner permit:cool:

Sorry Phi3 for completely stealing your thread! :o

You must have a NYS driver license or a valid driver license from another US state or from Canada to drive in NYS. In most cases, you can drive in NYS if you have a valid driver license from another country.

The main one for Dublin is in Blackhall Place, Queen Street, Dublin 7.
There are also MTO's in Rathfarnham and Ballymun. The Ballymun one is very efficient IMO.

(I'm presuming you're in Dublin by you given location - apologies if you are not)

No need to appologise, I am a Dub, & I sent it to the one in queen st on Friday, shame I didn't know about Ballymun 'til now.

Anyway, with a bit of luck, I should be getting it tomorrow or so.
Can't wait to finally get cracking at this!!

    Sorry, another question!
How do i send the fee for the licence to them? There's no-where on the form to fill in credit card details and it doesn't say who to send a postal order or whatever to.
