Addictive Compulsive Theft

    Hi,

I suffer from addictive compulsive thieving. It's slightly different from kleptomania in that it's premeditated and there's a sense of guilt afterwards. They say it's done out of anger or frustration with life.

I justify it by saying to myself and those that know I do it that I don't rob from the small people, which I don't. I only do it from the highly profitable multi-nationals. (btw, I know the arguements about me raising the price of goods and losing jobs and so on.... which tbh I don't buy. Margins are set by these shops and they are met by raising prices and it could result from higher oil price, overstock, too many man hours or whatever...)

What I want to know is; is there anyone out there that is afflicted by the same compulsive behaviour and how do they deal with it?

I don't particularly want to be this way as I fear getting caught will damage career prospects and my reputation. I won't deny I get a thrill from it. That feeling of having taken on a giant and winning... It's stupid and illogical I know! I reckon at this stage what I have taken would be in the high hundreds if not thousands worth...

    Any advice 'd be great!
    Thanks

Plz, don't give me the age old arguements about morals and so on 'cause that's now what will make me stop...
