Have heard women describe it as both the past few days...something that they love, a blessing that enhances them. Another described its application as a chore which was expected of her. What do people people here think?:)

Chore definitely. It creates an unrealistic standard of what women are supposed to look like on any given day. We'd all be better off going natural.

Blessing. I'd hate to be a man and not be able to wear it. It enables you to change your look for different events and can really enhance your looks and cover imperfections.

I think when applied correctly definetly a blessing.
t's nice too make the most of your features.

Blessing! I enjoy putting makeup on.
I like to look different, I like to have different colours on my face, and I love art and see it as an extension of that.

i'd say blessing, but that's because i don't wear it most of the time - only when i feel like going an extra mile

    Both- depends on my mood.
Some days i love putting it on & feel great for wearing it.
Some days i feel very lazy & could not be bothered!

Can be both tbh, late for work and rushing = chore, but if I have a bit of time to myself, say on a weekend day, I love taking my time and sitting with my little mirror experimenting :D I love getting ready for a night out, can go all out with the eye shadow and really go ott with it :p

I'm split but leaning more towards blessing. The outcome is definitely a blessing, wouldn't be without it. Having said that putting it on is a chore. I don't know how people can enjoy putting their make-up on or getting it done, I find it boring.

Blessing! I love my make-up. Never wore it in my teens and my mum never had any so I never really experimented until my early twenties..hooked now. You can enhance your looks and mess around and have fun. Definite love :)

A little bit is great to enhance certain features or hide unwanted blemishes.. but i miss the pre-teen days when i wouldn't even look in the mirror ha! It would be fab not to need it but the reality is most of us don't have the confidence to go bare faced
