Mx5 Question on Windscreens

    Anyone know answer to this:

I got a replacment windscreen - after bringing out totally wrong one week 1- they installed a horrible Green Tinted Windscreen on me in week 2 - totally hate it -

so got them to order a Clear one - but after a week they bring out a Blue tinted one to fit - told them no while I did some research.

Question is what is the correct, normal windscreen to put in an mx5 - Green, Blue or is there a Clear windscreen that can be got?

All the other windows look clear to me in the car.

    Car: Mx5 Mk1 Non-Import.
Blue Windscreen they were going to fit was: 5138abl1c (where bl means Blue).

the new green tint is awful - when I am driving and look in mirrors - I see a Red Flash as my eyes get accustomed to no green again.

The glass fitter says he has only fitted Green and Blue only. And clear is probably not available.
But no other windows in car are blue..or green.. :( All clear.
he did also say all windows are made in same place - (which is totally a lie.)

Want to know is this Blue one the Best replacement I can get for the MX5 - or is there a Clear one I can get.

Insurance is paying for it - so I assume they are charging full wack for it -

I dont think Im being too picky asking for matching windows :(

    thanks guys....

You might get a better answer over in the MX-5 owners club site. I'm sure someone there has had to replace a windscreen at some stage.
