    Hotel... Meh

I loved staying in "the Helm" though. Its along the Quay and there is entertainment there, They have a website. They offer apartments as well for self catering.

I also stayed in the westport woods hotel. This is excellent however might prove a little pricy.

As for main pub area... There is 2

The centre of westport which is around matt molloys and along the quays which brings in The Helm the quays and the towers.

I love westport and I am a dub...

    2.. ;)

In Westport town you have The Castlecourt hotel, the plaza, the Wyatt, Clew Bay hotel and Milltimes all within the town itself.

Within a 5 min walk you have Hotel Westport and then within 10 mins walk you have the Knockranny house hotel.

    Enjoy your stay.

The Castlecourt Hotel is probably your best bet. Its in the town and near all the pubs and shops.

I stayed in the Castlecourt a couple of times. It's a nice hotel with pretty good service and is right in the town too.
