Couple beaten with wheel brace

...by two men who broke into their home to rob them.Just heard this on the RTE news.

Will we hear any more...I think not, it's just a regular occurrence these days.
Just one of things we accept and forget.
..until it happens again. I am so sick of it!!!

It's a horrible situation to think about. Unfortunately if I came home, or woke up to multiple people robbing my place, I would just stay out of their way til they were gone, remember any details and phone the Gardai later. I know they're scumbags for robbing you in the first place but where did the phrase "Honour amongst thieves" ever come from.

Unfortunately it is. And id if it was one guy i'd almost happily sort himout with a little beating but these people have no sense of proportionate response. You disturb them robbing your house you get beat with a wheel brace! You successfully tackle one and give him a kicking next thing you have your house burned down or they come back with more scummy friends.

I agree they strive on peoples fear of tackling them, but at the same time I'm not gonna get killed, or even beaten with a wheel brace for the sake of a plasma telly and some cheap jewellery.

Couple beaten and robbed this morning still beaten and robbed.

There's been another natural disaster in the bottom half of the world but we're bumping that to repeat the same story that we gave you this morning, we'll run it all week if we have to!

Things are as they were a few hours ago.

The couple are slightly improved, but you dont know them and thy could be dead for all you know, would it really matter to you?

The criminals who attacked have not and probably will not be caught, even if they are they will most likely be men 18-45 you dont know, john o brien and paul murphy or something. You will shake your head at the TV and get on with your life.
