Firstly this has permission of powers that be so thanks to them

Beta Testers
Musicnews.ie is looking for 20 bands / artists to beta test our artist website which will be a new service and the first of it's kind in the Irish Music Industry. We would expect each band / artist chosen to complete some feedback forms over the next month or so before we go fully live to the general public with the artists section.

To that end if you are interested in being a beta tester for us we would appreciate that you have music that is off saleable quality & preferably your own website also. If you are interested please email info@musicnews.ie for more info.

Writers / Photographers
Also, we are looking for writers & photographers of all calibres to help us cover / review large & small gigs, albums throughout the country. Whether you are starting out or more experienced we would like to hear from you.

Hopefully with the help of the boards.ie bands/musicians community we can have Music News.ie fill the massive support gap that is there for bands / artists at the moment

Hi miju, just wanted to wish you good luck with the site. Hopefully the Musicians Wanted section won't steal too much traffic from here .

Are registrations disabled on the forum? I attempted to register but the page didn't seem to do anything and no errors were reported.
Edit: Actually a confirmation e-mail just popped into my inbox. It might be an idea to have a nice clear "Thank you for registering" message just so people don't get confused and try to re-register or something.

Forum is going to be stripped back to 2 simple main categories with links to here instead for musicians wanted & cheers for the good wishes buddy

guys thank you for all the replies, we had a hell of alot more emails than we expected and we think we've gotten back to everyone.

If we haven't please drop us an email we didnt intentionally oversee any emails. While I'm here posting this a quick plug for our latest review of the Black Eyed Peas last night in The O2 which is here.
