    Hi all,

    Just a quick question.

We have an LCD tv in Dublin and it comes with an in built digital tuner.
When trying to access the digital station I cannot pick up anything. only some radio stations.
When selecting a region, its dosent have Ireland and I can only select other.

Has anybody experienced any problems like this.

I have a dish up for SKY but nothing else.

The digital tuner in the TV is for DVB-T broadcasts, not for satellite (DVB-S). You need a set-top box for that. The radio broadcasts you are receiving is from the test transmissions that are being used for digital TV. If you get a decent aerial (and your TV supports MPEG4 signals), chances are you'd pick up the DVB-T terrestrial broadcasts as well (the regular Irish channels).
