More than two subjects, from the combined Christmas/Summer exams, can you not progress into second year?

    Cheers.

    Depends on the subjects IIRC.

Depends on the subjects, some of the subjects per semester are vital e.g for a computer course it would be say maths and programming.
You can always repeat the exams in August, but if you fail then I'd be inclined to think you can't progress to the next year although the credits system might work with the repeat exams. not too sure.
The vital and important subjects must be passed though.

Cheers for the replies - Looks like I won't be getting to go back next year then, unfortunately.
