Hanguard wobbling on my Cybergun M4A1 CQBR

Hey, I am just wondering how to I retighten the Front hand end of the above gun to stop it from moving side to side.

Any help is appreciated

Is it just the rail set wobbling or the whole outer barrel/handguard assembly?

there should be a screw on the lower receiver that holds the outer barrel in place. that might be missing other than that the outer barrel is worn down and is lose therefore the whole forward rail and hand guard is sliding around. does it slide of front ways.

Tighten your delta ring, that puts pressure on the outer barrel to keep it steady, that should stop the wobbling for ya:)

@Snakedoc, the screw seems to be grand, and no, it doesn;t slide up and down.

@Blay, what teh hell is the Delta Ring, and ho wdo I tighten it?

The delta ring is this thing:



Sits at the end of the handguard closest to the receiver, there's a special tool to tighten it but I doubt many people have that so what ya do is:

Pull back th outer part of the delta ring till you can see the things that look like little teeth on the pic there, hold the thing back, wrap a cloth around the teeth and tighten it with a vice grips, works fine for me:)

Sometimes your best taking it completely off and screwing it back on tight, I've had problems just tightening it but removing it seems to fix that for me, do what works best for you:)

Ok, I'm with you, but there is a silver tube thingy in one of the groves of the Delta ring, so it wont turn.

That's the dummy gas tube, think that prevents the delta ring from moving so maybe that's not your problem, none of my M4's have the dummy gas tubes so I'm at a loss as to how to fix it, probably best waiting till Masada or Puding or someone more in the know sees this, they'll know what to do to fix ya up:)
