On a serious note, I try not to care about the past and what could've been.

Had I done things differently & done things that I wanted to do then I could've went down another path which lead to more paths where I would still be replying to this thread at this moment.

To be honest, I'm pretty happy how things turned out though they could be much, much better. The friends I've made and kept from my chosen paths and my general intelligence & awareness of things re-assure me I haven't screwed up.............majorly, anyways!

Who knows but, then again, who really cares............especially since the time machine hasn't been invented yet :pac:

I try not to get caught up thinking about this stuff, it can cripple you in a way. If I'd made different decisions, I would have turned out differently, and I did all the stuff I did because of who I am. I'd probably make most of the same decisions.

That said... I was a very unhappy teenager. I thought my whole life was going to be that miserable, and that just made it worse. I'm much happier now than I was then, but at the time I couldn't imagine it ever getting any better, I didn't know it did.

So I guess I'd like to be able to try being a teenager again, only this time knowing that.

I am the total opposite.

To me the 80's were the business.

Movies, music, TV .. everything (apart from family crap, but that's life).

Anyway, I was chuffed with the 80's, getting served in Bruxelles when I wsa 15, Mettalica gigs, Ozzy gigs .. first walkman, VHS, I thought life was gonna get better and better and I'd live forever.

I don't believe in regrets. What's done is done and can't be changed. The only thing we can change is the future (I know that sounds like 'pscyho-babble' but it's true )

However, if forced to give an answer then I would say that I would try not to be as self concious as I was as a teenager and not care so much about what people thought of me.

I'm now in my mid 20s and I've got to the stage where I am a lot (almost totally happy) with being me and not caring about what others think of me. It was a long time coming, though
