Typical Friday night i was going on to someone how great my MAC was and it never gave me trouble in 3 years then i go to switch it on Saturday and nothing. I tried everything on the trouble shooting page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1365
    but still nothing.

anyone else ever experience this? any help to offer please?

Can you give more detail? What (if anything) happens when you press the power button? Does the display turn on at all? Do the fans run? Does the hard drive spin?

P.S. - It's Mac (short for Macintosh), not MAC. People might think you are talking about lipstick or something. :D

    I presume its a Macbook yeah ?

Silly question but did you have it plugged into the mains when you tried to start it, it may be as simple the battery has died.

I don't hear any fan or hard disk activity sounds when i try turn the computer on, and the sleep light doesn't turn on.
The battery indicator on the actually battery shows 4 green bars.
The power adaptor shows a green light like it is charged.

Remove the battery and try turning it on with just the adapter connected.

Remove the battery and try turning it on with just the adapter connected.

After doing that, remove the battery, remove the adapter and push and hold the power button for 10 seconds. After that plug it in and try to start it.
