Do women like stubble?

Well I don't mean the 5 O'clock shadow but I mean a little bit of a beard. Nothing too long and kept relatively trim or is the 5 O'clock shadow enough?
Perhaps no stubble at all? Maybe if i posted a pic it would help?

    Thanks :)

    Hi,
Personally I think a little stubble on a guy can be attractive
but I wouldn't be a fan of a full beard. It's not ideal when kissing.
You may find some useful opinions here.

Different strokes for different folks! Do you like it? Thats all that really matters, imo!:)

Bit of a beard is better than stubble. I can't stand have my face rubbed raw and at least a bit of a beard can be soft and doesnt end up in red scour marks on the face.

No, it scratches your face when you kiss.

imo i really dont like it, i like a nice smooth face .as Pythia said it scratches your face when ya kiss its not nice

Well I let it grow out for a bit there and it's not too long. It's soft wouldn't scratch while getting closer to someone ha.
I grow more around lower jaw etc. Not so much on the cheeks. I knew i could've asked in several places but thought i'd give fashion a go first to see how popular it is too. Seen several guys sporting similar facial hair.

This is the closest thing i can find except it's a bit thinner on myself.

hmm so attractive but pointless. I see. I think clean shaven perhaps?

Love it! My ex has a beard like in the pic and I can honestly say it never got in the way of kissing. The only time I ever noticed irritation was when we'd be cuddled and he'd have his chin in by my neck. It sometimes left my neck a bit raw, but it was never a problem.

    See!

It really depends on the woman you'll be kissing congo!!

lol well I may keep it. Just wanted some female opinions on this and how it is for you compared to the usual male responses I get when I ask mates.

    Thanks! :D

I think some men have coarser, wirier facial hair which make it more spikey when shaven. I've seen some men with soft looking hair which probably wouldn't rub against your lips so much.

I hate clean shaven-and also hate beards!
Stubble, always. Never noticed it being a problem when kissing and whatever, occasionally mild irritation but nothing thatd make me prefer a man looking like a smooth lil boy/hobo!

I love a bit o' facial hair!!! My boy had one similar to the pic and it never irritated me at all- you just get used to it. He recently shaved it off for a change and I still feel like I'm doing the dirt on him when I kiss him with my eyes closed!! I prefer the manly bearded look :)

So to summarise on some points here. The beard adds to the mans age? e.g he looks his age? The only trouble I can see with the aove beard is it may appear "unkempt" in the workplace. This is where friends have been pointing out the flaw in the beard. Some places frown upon it.

It's manly and rough - nice to have a bit of that from time to time :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,339 ✭✭✭congo_90

Ah but it doesn't suit every man in fairness :o I may upload a pic of myself and see what the opinions are on it. :p

I absolutle love stubble and beards although it depends on teh beard. The guy in that picture is really handsome and pulls it off. There's a really salobby guy in work that has one and you can tell he's just lazy and couldn't be bothered shaving.

I find it really sexy and manly and although kissing can be a bit itchy at times, it's worth it.

Post a pic for more opinions!!

Ah nuts to that! Let them frown all they like. If it's a well kept beard then there's no real reason to have a problem with it. I have my hair dyed fire engine red and was a little nervous going into work with it at first but as it turns out my boss loves it!

    Beards rock!

V.attractive, not fun to kiss, unless its grown a bit. I have sensitive skin so I dont like getting all scratchy, it's worth it sometimes though :)

I normally don't like beards as such on guys, but yours is quite neat and not heavy yet. I'd say this length is fine with us women, (well i think that's mild!). But i wouldn't like it any thicker.

    P.S. You've nice long eyelashes...keep those:D

oooohhhhhh i love a bit of stubble!!!! :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,131 ✭✭✭MissHoneyBun

Yeah I like when himself has some stubble going on, looks very masculine -except when it's 'designer stubble' in which case it just looks try hard and well, ghey. Moi isn't a fan of ze Metrosexual brigade, au naturale ftw!

When I grow a beard I just do the proper way and grow a big bushy one. Dont like all that trimming and having it perfect.
Not trying to be horrible OP but peach fuzz doesnt suit anyone imo, shave it off until you are able to grow one and you be flying.
